There’s a tree located near Modjadjiskloof, South Africa that is about 6,000 years old — so it’s only natural that someone put a pub in it. The ‘Pub Tree’ resides within a Baobab tree, and its naturally occurring hollow interior makes for an awesome place to get s-faced.
The tree can hold about 15 people and is full of historical memorabilia of the tree pub’s history, which dates back to 1933.
Following in the footsteps of such other bands as Iron Maiden and Hanson [?!?], heavy metal novelty act GWAR is now in the beer business. GWAR-B-Q Beer is a collaboration of the members of GWAR and Cigar City Brewing, and is set to debut at this year’s GWAR-B-Q in Tampa, FL.
Although most people probably aren’t familiar with the GWAR-B-Q, the event does offer an appearance by Oderus Urungus himself, and you might even get stuffed into and eaten by the World Maggot.

Brought to us by Lithuania-based studio Prim Prim, Taste The Font explores what some well-known fonts might taste like if converted to food.
Using some intricate papercraft, Prim Prim converts Times into a plate a bacon of eggs, with the rationale that the font was created to be enjoyed in the AM by ham and eggers. Comic Sans naturally becomes marshmallows, because Comic Sans is fluffy, empty, and has no nutritional value. See more here.
