Mameshiba is Japan’s attempt at supplying random bits of trivia. But rather than placing useless information under a Snapple cap, these short cartoons horrify the potential eater with creepy anthropomorphic food.
After learning such tidbits as “The bible forbids the eating of chameleons”, or “A hippo’s sweat is pink“, the innocent victims are understandably too upset to finish their sweet beans.
