Banana Ice Cream Designed Like an Actual Banana with Edible Peel

A few things that are wrong with ordinary banana ice cream… First, it’s banana-flavored. Secondly, it continuously misses the opportunity to borrow from an actual banana’s brilliant engineering and design — until now.

The Pega Pop — a product of Brazil — forms the ice cream into an actual banana shape, then uses an outer layer made of edible gelatin to form a peel. If you can get your hands on one, peel one open and take your pseudo-banana to go.
