Netflix and Chili

Netflix and Chill is currently the hottest national pastime. The only thing that this activity doesn’t account for, is what’s for snacks after the ‘chill’ part.

Artist Tisha Cherry is on it with Netflix and Chili. Not only does Tisha do her thing, which is to play with food, but by replacing ‘chill’ with ‘chili,’ you might actually finish an episode of Breaking Bad. You can always chill later.

Streetwear and Fashion Logos Recreated With Food

tisha-cherry-04

Last we heard from food artist Tisha Cherry, she was making awesome Oreo art. Cherry is back with a series of edible streetwear and fashion brand logos.

Supreme is recreated as a supreme pizza, Nike is painstakingly made from coffee beans, and Tokyo-based A Bathing Ape is made from sushi.

If you’re noticing a theme here, it’s because Cherry is purposely using ingredients synonymous with the brand’s home state, country or city. See more below or at Cherry’s Instagram account here.

Food Art Tributes via Oreo Cookies and Other Foodstuffs

When you need to pay tribute to classic works of art and pop culture icons, there’s no better way than using an Oreo and other foodstuffs.

Tisha Cherry knows this, and creates various works of art and portraits from food. Whether it’s an Oreo cookie paying homage to The Great Wave, or a hearty soup painting of Bob Marley — Cherry’s works are a fun way to turn “the mundane into the magical from palette to palate.”
