Lay’s New ‘Do Us A Flavor’ Chips Are Revealed And They Sound Pretty Awesome

Lay’s recently announced four finalists of their “Do Us A Flavor” contest. After thousands and thousands of submissions for out of the ordinary and U.S. regional-specific flavors — it’s been narrowed down to Southern Biscuits & Gravy, New York Reuben, Wavy West Coast Truffle Fries and Kettle Cooked Greektown Gyro.

Now, it’s up to the people to decide which chip reigns supreme, and they can vote here starting July 27th. Then we just need to know how they made a potato chip taste like a gyro. I assume sorcery.

Cappuccino Potato Chips Exist

Since you’re probably going to eat potato chips for breakfast anyway… Cappuccino Potato Chips now exist.

Part of Lay’s Do Us A Flavor campaign, where they crowdsource ideas for new chip varieties, the coffee chips are part of an experiment including Cheddar Bacon Mac & Cheese, Mango Salsa, and Wasabi Ginger. Voting to decide the official new flavor starts in 12 days.

Great… But can we get the cappuccino chips in half-caf, two-pump, extra-foam, mocha-choca? Asking for a friend.

Lay’s Chocolate-Covered Potato Chips Exist

Because you didn’t ask for it, Lay’s is now offering their wavy slices of taters covered in milk chocolate. Lay’s Wavy Potato Chips Dipped in Milk Chocolate is a limited edition snack that, for those who like their salty and sweet, will be available soon at Target.
