Stripping fruits of their natural color, artist Dewey Saunders and photographer Andre Rucker created Produce Illusion.
Saunders and Rucker’s choice to make the produce desaturated and monochromatic adds an interesting visual element — while the fruits remain easily recognizable by shape and texture.
They also toy with gravity, stacking these re-colored fruits into beautiful sculptures.

Brought to us by Romanian photographer Radu Zaciu, The Light Inside is a wonderful photo series of glowing fruits and vegetables.
Created by placing a light source inside pieces of produce, the project was inspired by the German word for ‘lightbulb’ (glühbirne) — which translates to ‘glowing pear.’
