How To Make Your Own Pet Potato

Cats and dogs had a good run. Now, it’s time for the potato to become your new favorite pet.

DIY inventor Marek Baczynski, remembering from science class that a potato produces electricity, brings us the Pet Potato. What started as nothing more than a four-wheeled spud that could only travel a few inches in a straight line, quickly becomes a loyal multi-directional pet. Marek named his new buddy, Pontus.

What Marek didn’t take into account, unfortunately, is that keeping delicious pets around is never a good idea, and Pontus’s fate becomes obvious. I won’t give anything away, but that fate involves baking and some butter. Enjoy!

Baked Electronic Products

Baked Electronic Products is a fun series by artist Debbi Nitsan. Taking various electronic devices — including clocks, flashlights, and radios — Nitsan removes the outer plastic casings and replaces them with bread dough.

The devices are then placed in the oven and baked, giving them a new bread enclosure. And, not only are the new devices now easier to consume, but they all still function.
