BrunchCity, Miniature Cities Placed On The Foods That Best Represent Them

Madrid
Madrid

Brought to us by illustrator Bea Crespo and photographer Andrea G.Portoles, BrunchCity is a fun project that places a miniature illustrated version of a city atop a food that best represents it.

A beautiful miniature Tokyo sits on a roll of sushi, while a croissant creates an appropriate landscape for Paris.

The project is the result of a few things that the duo enjoys the most… food, travelling, illustrations, photos and creativity. Check out the series below and over at BrunchCity to see if your favorite city received the food treatment.

Delicious City Prints, Celebrating Regional Food and Typography

Brought to us by Philadelphia-based designer Roni Lagin, Delicious City Prints is a fun exercise in typography and regional cuisine. Already covering most major cities with more on the way, the poster series might make you hungry for lunch — regardless of where you live.

A Kickstarter campaign is in place to help get the project into production. Having already reached its target goal, look for the posters to be available for sale shortly.

US Cities Coasters

Brought to us by The National Design Collective, US Cities Coasters can be a drink-holding tribute to your favorite city. Laser cut from 3mm birch plywood, the set includes; San Francisco, Los Angeles, Chicago, and New York. Use your favorite city, or you could pretend to flood your least favorite city with your drink’s condensation.

For our Canadian fans — they’re also available in Vancouver, Winnipeg, Toronto, and Ottawa, to rest your highly alcoholic beer on.
