Father’s Day has come and gone, but we’ll always have Life of Dad’s “Cheerio Challenge.” Sleeping babies are at the mercy of their dad’s tomfoolery, while Cheerios are stacked as high as possible on their motionless bodies.

As far as we know, the record currently stands at sixteen Cheerios high. You can keep track of the competition on Facebook, #CheerioChallenge.

And, just in case you think this is mean… Babies and mom’s have already plotted their revenge. Take that, motionless dad!

A Cheerios Cereal Dispenser Made Entirely of LEGOS

Recently, we were treated to a Chicken McNugget Dispenser made entirely of LEGOs. Now, the same engineering brick toy-enthusiasts, AstonishingStudios, are back to help make breakfast a little more awesome.

The LEGO Cheerios Cereal Maker will not only dispense your yummy oat rings at the touch of a button, but it will pour your milk too. The machine even has a handy side drawer to hold your cereal spoons.

No mention if they’re considering making a dispenser for every Cheerios variety which, at last count, was somewhere in the thousands.*

Cheerios Coated Grilled Cheese

To help put a spin and some crunchiness on a grilled cheese sandwich, Serious Eats has come up with the Cheerios Coated Grilled Cheese Sandwich.

It’s simple… Just adhere some Cheerios cereal to toast, using some melted cheese as glue. Then go about your standard grilled cheese preparation, and breakfast and/or lunch is served.

Serious Eats’ recipe calls for ham and mustard, but you can roll however you like. You can even make a Cheerios Cheesus for all we we care.

As Caldwell Tanner shows us, perhaps mascots are better left to the sugar-coated crack that is kid’s cereal. And we’ll keep buying ours based on what keeps us regular the best.
