A Full-size Han Solo In Carbonite Refrigerator

We’ve seen a few Han Solo in carbonite refrigerators before, but they were either the work of Photoshop or too small to be our favorite decoration.

Frank Ippolito of Tested knows what the people want, and has created a functioning full-size version of a Han Solo In Carbonite Refrigerator. Using a mold of Han’s body parts, several epoxies, LED lights and a paint job, Frank produces a fridge worthy to stand in any evil space-slug’s lair.

So, the question becomes… What to put inside? Han Fro-yo? Leftover Salacious Crumb Cake? Han Solo in Carbonite Pop Tarts? Anyway, check out the “how to” below.

If you have some vegetables or a few bantha steaks to slice up, the Han Solo in Carbonite Cutting Board will provide a good surface to do so.

Han is very well-protected by a hygienic glass surface that’s resistant up to 350° F. It’s not actually made from carbonite, because that’s not a thing. Accessorize and get a fridge to match.

Check it out here.

Settle down, Star Wars geeks… This Han Solo in Carbonite Refrigerator is merely a product of Photoshop. But rest easy — the concept won the popularity vote as part of B3TA’s “Fridges” challenge. So surely there’s someone somewhere that’ll make this fridge a reality. Editors note: Someone somewhere. please make this fridge happen, pretty please.
