Regardless of how you feel about Porgs and The Last Jedi, you have to admit that the puffin/penguin/ewok hybrids were pretty darn cute. The best part, is that their puffiness is begging to be recreated in rice ball-form, and Disney Parks has made this happen.
The Porg Bento showcases the cutest rice ball in the galaxy. Although, we’re not sure Chewbacca would be into this meatless version, you can find out how to make your own with the video below.
The problem with your average smartwatch, is that there just isn’t enough food in it. Even a watch made by a company called ‘Apple’… no apples, nothing.
Japanese agricultural company, Takii Seed, would like to change that with the Bento Watch. At least, they’d like to tease you with the idea of an edible watch, as this is merely a one-off.

To help celebrate their upcoming New Year, Japanese department store, Takashimaya, is celebrating in the most appropriate way… By making ginormous Nintendo Bento Boxes.
The tradition of osechi ryouri (お節料理), specially-prepared bento boxes for the holiday, will come in three-tiers. While most of the food included will be Mario and friends-themed, some actually has deeper meaning. Such as shrimp, which is hunched over, representing the elderly.
Although, powering up on this feast will not come cheap, 27,000 yen (US$225), it is meant to enjoy with family over the course of a few days. And, it comes with a set of cards.

Whether you find these little sausage people cute or creepy is no matter… They are currently a hot food trend in Japan. And, if we’ve learned anything about food trends, is that they usually last forever, if not longer.
Officially called ‘so-se-jin’, a play on the Japanese words for ‘sausage’ (so-se-ji) and ‘people’ (jin) — they’re created with a few simple cuts, and when cooked, will form arms and the expression of your choice.
I, for one, welcome our new sausage overlords. And you should consider including them in lunch to instantly add some adorbz. Or, to freak out the kids.
