Nothing says ‘beer’ quite like an adorable cartoon kitten who’s worshipped by little girls. Long Chuan Beer Company near Taiwan seems to think so, and has unleashed Hello Kitty Beer.
Available in fruit flavors, only 2.5% ABV, and the aforementioned cartoon kitten on the can, we wonder if they’ve actually gone and created the first beer made specifically for little girls. Besides Coors Light.

Have no fear… A superhero-themed beer is here. Brought to us by Brooklyn Brewery and New York Comic Con organizer, ReedPOP, The Brooklyn Defender is back to “strike fear into the heart of those who would forget the virtues of true beer.”
We would’ve also accepted, “The Brooklyn Defender is back to stop the flow of PBR into his borough, with a beer made from the tears of hipsters.” Actually, Brooklyn Defender is an American Black Ale, and will make its debut at a release party at Brooklyn Brewery on September 21st. No hipsters were harmed in making it.
We never thought we’d say this, but, “Move over, Nutella.” The former greatest spread ever just doesn’t have enough beer in it. Enter Birra Spalmabile, a spread loaded with beer and eager to greatly improve your toast.

Whoa… How many IPAs did I drink anyway? Because I swear that beer label is moving. Beer Labels in Motion is a great new Tumblr blog by Trevor Carmick, who gives motion to craft beer labels, by way of animated GIF.
