A self-portrait, by artist Mary Ellen Croteau, consists of hundreds of plastic bottle caps. Inspired by the work of Chuck Close, Croteau combined different-sized caps into circles of color, creating incredibly lifelike textures, and begging the viewer to get up close and personal.
