Noodlebots Are Here To Help

August 21, 2012 by Chris Durso

They’ve been programmed to cut our meat, flip our pancakes, and even help bake our cupcakes. Now, an army of robots has been assembled to help slice our noodles. The Chef Cui robot, created by Chinese restaurateur Cui Runguan, is in answer to rising labor costs in China.

At around $2,000 each, the noodlebot is a bargain compared to the $4,700 that a full-time noodle cook would cost. And, the restaurant would be spared from having to listen to someone complain about making noodles all day. Although, the angry glowing eyes of the Chef Cui do not help.
