If Food Idioms Were Illustrated

October 26, 2015 by Chris Durso

What if a “jam session” was actually a meeting between several fruit preserves? Or, a carbonated beverage actually had a penchant for making confectionaries?

Artist Keren Rosen gets literal with her adorable illustrations. Dings & Doodles is a series of cartoons that takes several idioms and puns, and displays them literally. Poor banana split.

Rosen’s illustrations are available at her Etsy page here.
