April Wells is an artist with an obvious passion for food, animals, and anthropomorphism. She creates characters through her paintings and designs that are part animal, part food, and all adorbz.
Although her work is described briefly on Etsy as ‘The Art of Dogs and Food’, we are treated to quite a few different species and foodstuffs — one of the best of which is the Hot Dog Octopus.

April also shows a fascination with Asian cuisine, evidenced by sushi-come-to-life, ramen men, and even a tempura-battered cephalopod.
And, if you can’t decide on just one adorable character from April’s collection, she offers the ‘Build your own Bento‘ option, where the buyer can choose from 2, 3, or 4 mini canvases framed together. Everybody wins.

April’s Etsy shop can be found here, and her blog, TheInfinityLoop, here.
