Horse Sushi Goes To Great Lengths

September 18, 2014 by Chris Durso

Just when we thought that we’d seen it all with Ramen sushi, sushi socks, and California Rolls — along comes another questionable sushi-related item.

Horse meat sushi is brought to us by Japanese restaurant Nikuzushi, who forgoes the traditional raw fish and specializes in meat and vinegared rice. The horse sushi is available in a few varieties — such as lean meat, belly, and seaweed-wrapped diced meat.

So if you’re looking to win at dinner, this might be the place to show up at. Let it ride.

I ate their while in Japan. Horse meat is good. I wish it would be normalized in cuisine.
