It is also a treasure trove of nostalgic print advertising and fleeting celebrity status.
Celebrities, models, athletes and musicians — usually at the high-point of their career — found themselves temporarily mustachioed to promote their new movie, the big game, or to capitalize on their remaining three minutes of fame.
The campaign has even been around long enough, that most of these ‘celebrities’ have been long gone from our psyche, and most people would be hard-pressed to recognize them at all. And then there are those who we simply never cared about in the first place. Enjoy.
