Food Huggers Help Preserve Cut Fruits and Veggies

Sure, you could take your chances trying to preserve the unused half of fruits and veggies in a baggie or plastic wrap — or, you can give that food a hug. Food Huggers is a new solution to saving food by creating a tight seal, helping to replicate the fruit or vegetable’s missing skin.

Food Huggers are made from BPA and phalate-free silicone, are dishwasher and freezer safe, and come in a variety of colors. The project has far exceeded their original Kickstarter goal, so pre-orders for your very own Food Huggers has begun.
