Deep-fried bubblegum, the latest entry in the ‘What can we deep-fry now?’ contest, recently won the Most Creative category at the Big Tex Choice Awards at the State Fair of Texas.
The creative part is that it’s not actually bubblegum — because that would be gross. The fried concoction’s innards are actually a marshmallow dipped in bubblegum-flavored extract, coated in bubblegum-flavored dough, and garnished with Chiclets. Chew on that.
