Cuddly Rigor Mortis [food art]

September 13, 2010 by Chris Durso

'Slice and Dice' by Kristin Tercek

Cuddly Rigor Mortis is the work of artist Kristin Tercek. Inspired by her hand-sewn plush dolls, Tercek paints brilliant renditions of anthropomorphic foods with varying degrees of cuteness and brutality.

And if the adorable fruits and veggies with the doll eyes are a bit too cutesy for you — Kristin urges, ‘please keep looking. I’m sure you’ll notice something quite horrific soon enough.’
