Burger King’s ‘Stranger Things Whopper’ Is Merely A Whopper Served Upside Down

June 14, 2019 by Chris Durso

There’s lazy marketing and then there’s Burger King’s Upside Down Whopper.

To help promote Stranger Things 3, Burger King employees will not only have the responsibility of creating your flame-broiled “burger” with all the fixin’s, but they’ll need to make sure it’s placed in its packaging upside down.

If you’re wondering what’s so special about this Whopper, the short answer is, “not a damn thing.” It’s the same BK signature burger, same toppings, same buns, but flipped. OOOOOH, scary.

The Upside Down Whopper will only be available at BK locations in Miami, Houston, SF, LA, NYC, Atlanta, Philly, Boston, Chicago, and Dallas starting June 21.
