The LEGO Food Art of Bruce Lowell

Whether it’s a brilliantly-bricky donut, or immortalizing the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile, the LEGO works of Bruce Lowell need to be checked out. And renderings of actual foodstuffs is only a small part of what Lowell can do with LEGOs, as he’s also been known to construct the occasional KitchenAid Stand Mixer, and even a replica of a Pasadena In-N-Out Burger.

See a lot more of Lowell’s works of food, Star Wars, and other pop culture phenomena here.

Chocolate Planets

Chocolate just got heavenlier, and I might have just made up a word. Created by L’éclat, the chocolate boutique of the Righa Royal Hotel Japan, every planet in our solar system gets a flavor —  so you’ll no longer have to wonder what Uranus tastes like.

Actually, the Chocolate Planet flavors are as follows; Mercury (coconut mango), Venus (cream lemon), Earth (cacao), Mars (orange praline), Jupiter (vanilla), Saturn (rum raisin), Uranus (milk tea) and Neptune (cappuccino).

Life-Size Stormtrooper Cake

Brought to us by Amanda Oakleaf Cakes, the Life-Size Stormtrooper Cake was created for the Arisia Sci-Fi Convention in Boston, MA. At 6′ 4″, 300 lbs, it’s certainly not short for a Stormtrooper, and took two weeks and Oakleaf Cakes’ entire crew of ten people to put the cake together.

Then, the rebellion showed up…

The Pizza Boomerang, The Most Bizarre Commercial Ever (NSFW)

Pizza saves. We know this. But when it’s formed into a deadly boomerang, and placed in the hands of a few creatives from Spain, we get the surreal experience of the commercial seen below.

But a warning — The Pizza Boomerang, while helping to prevent an actual suicide, also foils the plans of a daytime flasher in the worst way possible. Please enjoy.
