July 3, 2013 by Chris Durso

T-Rexes have comically short arms. So it’s going to take some creativity to get them to serve you anything. The DIY Dinosaur Serving Dish is brought to us by Three Little Monkeys Studios — helping to put the once useless T-Rex to good use. Check out the “How To” here.

The Cheese Grater Kitchen Lamp is brought to us by Dominique of ViolettGerbera. Inspired by a lamp that appeared on That’s ’70s Show, you can make one yourself and have the finest, or coarsest, lighting for your kitchen.

Find out more about the project here.

The Oreo Separating Gun

March 27, 2013 by Chris Durso

With Oreo-separating devices all the rage, it only makes sense that a few more DIYers would want in on the action. Lucky for us, slingshot enthusiast/deadeye Jöerg Sprave likes his Oreos separate. So, he went ahead and crafted the Oreo Separating Gun.

Rather crude by design, the gun actually gets results. Not only is the cream filling completely removed, but every molecule of the Oreo is completely separated from one another, as the cookie is obliterated. Dunk what you can find.

Earn a green thumb every pizza night with Pizza Chef — a gardening set that will help grow your own pizza ingredients. Included are the tools needed for some of the basics — including tomato, oregano, and basil seeds.

Now we just need to plant that mozzarella and pepperoni tree in the backyard, and we’re set.
