If you’re having trouble deciding which dessert to have in Paris, perhaps it’s as simple as choosing whatever matches your outfit. That’s what Parisian pastry chef, Tal Spiegel, does by coordinating confectionary works of art with his shoes.

The Instagram account, desserted_in_paris, is a feast for the eyes just for the desserts. Then, upon further inspection, we discover that the desserts are merely fashion accessories. See more below and over at Instagram.

Food Handbags and Other Delicious Accessories

food-handbags

It’s not unusual for a woman to own several handbags. However, none will send the message better that you’re stylish and occasionally hangry, than these food-themed handbags.

Designed by Etsy artist Rommy Kuperus, the handbags are available as a realistic strawberry shortcake, giant bag of M&Ms, or a cheeseburger deluxe bag with matching fries and ketchup necklace.

Don’t worry, gentlemen… Rommy wants you to be stylish too, with food-themed ties. Because dudes get hangry too.

Louis Vuitton Open Bag, 14.5 x 17.5 x 12.5 in, wax, leather and metal

Meat your new favorite fashion accessories… Created to be a commentary on over-the-top consumerism, Swiss artist Andrea Hasler created Burdens of Excess — a series of fashion accessories made of meat.

At least the sculptures are made to look like meat — they actually consist of a few materials, mostly a wax compound. So, please do not try to eat the Gucci.

Fortune Cookie Coin Purse

FortuneCookieBottomleft

With its inedible exterior and nonsensical contents, the fortune cookie is relatively useless. But now, the Fortune Cookie Coin Purse is here to help make up for the real fortune cookie’s shortcomings by holding your loose change. It’s the least it could do.

Brought to us by Diana Eng, the recycled leather coin purses take the form of the complimentary cookie, but without the useless lottery numbers and Chinese lessons inside. Available for pre-order here.
