Gingerbread Smaug Will Help Guard Your Christmas Treasure

December 29, 2014 by Chris Durso

smaug

If you made any gingerbread structures for Christmas… prepare to feel bad about yourself.

Gingerbread Smaug was created by 27-year old Caroline Erikkson. Each one of the dragon’s impenetrable scales was created out of cookie, along with its impressive wings and fire-breathing noggin.

Create one of your own to help guard your Christmas loot. Then make some dwarf gingerbread men and recreate that scene in The Hobbit where they get dunked in milk and have their heads bitten off.*

* may or may not have happened in the actual movie.
