Today, June 11th, is National Corn on the Cob Day. And, since there’s only 24 hours in any given food holiday, you’ll want to consume your corn as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Thankfully, Rhett and Link of Good Mythical Morning thought ahead, and prepped their cobs accordingly. By attaching their corn on the cob to a power drill, they race to see who can finish first.

Preparing the corn “California Style,” which requires a slathering of mayonnaise, butter and chili powder, ensures that this contest will be a hot mess. Please watch this, and enjoy your celebratory cobs today.

A Knife That Toasts Bread While It Slices Is The Best Invention

The process of slicing bread, and then placing it in the toaster, takes up too much time in the morning. Thankfully, there are inventors like Colin Furze looking out for you, who’s created the Toasting Knife.

Hooked up to a microwave transporter, a modified electric knife blade is heated up enough that it will toast your bread while it slices. Although, it is not an ideal toasting, it’s no worse than the first slice that we burn every morning. Please watch this.

Tortoises Eating Tiny Pancakes

Pancakes should be available to all walks of life… regardless of how slow-moving they are. BuzzFeedBlue agrees, and recently whipped up a short stack for a few sulcata tortoises.

The result is absolute adorableness, and is even a bit hypnotizing to watch. Accept for the tortoise who doesn’t partake in the pancakes. He must’ve went looking for the tiny butter and syrup. Please watch this…

This Dog Can’t Catch Food In His Mouth and It’s Fantastic

Fritz the golden retriever can’t catch food in his mouth… now he’s the star of your new favorite dog-fail video. The adorable canine tries, over and over again, to catch various foods in his mouth, and fails magnificently.

The Katering Show is that series. Starring Kate McCartney and Kate McClennan as your ‘food intolerant’ and ‘intolerant foodie,’ the videos take us through the hilarious culinary adventures of this dysfunctional duo.
