A Photo Booth That’ll Take Sharing Your Food Pics To Intolerable New Levels

dinnercam

Although Foodiggity would never indulge in something as trivial and self-involved as sharing our current meal via social media… The practice is about to be taken to levels of intolerability once unreachable with a mere smartphone and Instagram account.

#Dinnercam, hashtag intentional, is your new social media nightmare. It encourages the restaurant patron to actually pick up their meal from the table, stand, and carry it to a food photo booth. At which time, the person who you’ll soon be unfollowing, can choose from a number of lighting effects, take a pic of their grub, and overshare it at will.

And, because “Having only digital evidence of your current meal is not enough!” said nobody ever, the #Dinnercam will provide an actual print of the photo.

MWEB, who is responsible for this watershed moment in foodiot culture, claims that the #Dinnercam is not meant for mass production, and is only a “tongue-in-cheek campaign” about human interactions in public environments. Let’s never make this happen.

More Foods Cut In Half

foodcutinhalf04

Last year, we were mesmerized by the innards of certain foods, thanks to the photo series, Cut FoodNew York-based photographer Beth Galton is at it again, continuing her photo series with some new bisected foods and drinks.

The newest part of the series, just as aesthetically pleasing as the last, will have you wondering how they made the foods look like this, as well as making you a bit hungry. Perhaps for half a bucket of chicken?

camera-1-smaller

For the coffee and old-school photography enthusiast, there’s The Dreamy Camera. Designed to look like a giant Rolleiflex Camera, the two-story building is part coffee shop and part miniature camera museum.

It was created by a former South Korean helicopter pilot, and is located in YangPyung, South Korea, about an hour east of Seoul.

Head over there to appreciate the art form of photography. Just make sure to use the correct Instagram filter.
