Artist Saimir Strati takes his coffee seriously. So much so, that instead of grounding beans for his morning brew, he’s decided to use about one million of them to create a 25 square meter mosaic. Titled One World, One Family, One Coffee, the massive mosaic is being constructed in Strati’s native Albania. When completed, the coffee art will feature five characters representing different continents… and staying awake for long periods of time.

Montreal-based artist Olivier Lefebvre recently paid homage to Apple co-founder Steve Jobs, by creating a portrait using 3750 apples. Covering every number on his toaster dial, Henry Hargreaves created these mosaics using varying degrees of doneness, and the Fab Four’s Let It Be headshots. He even included Ringo.
Parks and Recreation’s Ron Swanson, besides slowly becoming the greatest TV character ever, likes meat. NBC wants to remind you of this fact, with the assemblage of the Ron Swanson Mosaic.
Print a hi-res copy to hang in your cubicle, and show your love of the curmudgeon, meat, and NBC primetime.
