Sweetening your beverage has never been cooler or more macabre, than with the Sugar Skull Spoon. The unique scooping utensil provides the perfect way to eat your cereal — or to sweeten your coffee, tea, or absinthe.

If you’re into that sort of thing. Tea, we mean… Who drinks tea anymore?

The Sugar Skull Spoon is available The Foodiggity Shop.

Power Up With A Giant Nintendo Bento Box

October 1, 2015 by Chris Durso

To help celebrate their upcoming New Year, Japanese department store, Takashimaya, is celebrating in the most appropriate way… By making ginormous Nintendo Bento Boxes.

The tradition of osechi ryouri (お節料理), specially-prepared bento boxes for the holiday, will come in three-tiers. While most of the food included will be Mario and friends-themed, some actually has deeper meaning. Such as shrimp, which is hunched over, representing the elderly.

Although, powering up on this feast will not come cheap, 27,000 yen (US$225), it is meant to enjoy with family over the course of a few days. And, it comes with a set of cards.

If there’s going to be a tentacled monster peeking out of your teacup… it might as well be The Great Old One, Cthulhu.

The Cthulhu Teacup was created by Michael Palmer of Voodoo Delicious. Available in a variety of squid-like creatures, the ceramic and resin sculptures can be used to add some flair to your home, or to freak out your tea-time guests. Check them out here.
