An Awesome Dragon Carved From A Watermelon

July 22, 2015 by Chris Durso

Just in time for summer, and while Game of Thrones is still fresh in our noggins, here comes one of the greatest watermelon sculptures ever.

Brought to us by artist, Valeriano Fatica, the Watermelon Dragon emerges from its fruit-shell so convincingly, that it will surely be able to scare off the bravest of hobbit, or to just have a picnic with the Khaleesi. See more below.

There’s A Minor League Baseball Team Called The Tacos

July 22, 2015 by Chris Durso

At least for one night, the Fresno Grizzlies will be known as The Fresno Tacos. The Houston Astros affiliate will adopt a name change and sport some certified-awesome taco apparel.

The P.R. move is to help support and promote the Grizzlies’ fifth annual “Taco Truck Throwdown,” where 25 taco trucks will park outside the Grizzlies’ stadium, and are expected to serve over 30,000 tacos.

The event, as well as an actual baseball game, will take place on Aug. 6th, which is sadly not a Tuesday. Get it… Taco Tuesday? Never mind… here’s a taco hat.

The Pug Loaf Is The Greatest Thing Since Sliced Bread

July 22, 2015 by Chris Durso

Apologies in advance to anyone who’s gluten-intolerant and/or a cat person, but Pugloaf could be the greatest thing since forever.

Pugloaf is brought to us by Lou Lou P’s Delights, and is currently the cutest way to carb-load. But don’t feel bad, cat people… there’s always Catloaf.

Welcome To The New Foodiggity

July 21, 2015 by Chris Durso

WELCOME-NEWS-POST-HEADER

Why yes, we did have some work done… Thanks for asking.

Greetings and welcome to Foodiggity 3.0. As Foodiggity approaches six years of existence, the ol’ site was showing some wear and tear. So, we went ahead and gave it a little nip/tuck in all the right places.

Firstly… A brandy-new logo. Two figs have been condensed to one, helping to reinforce the minimizing of the entire site. Our blog is now easier on the eyes and much easier to navigate, making your food culture consumption that much more pleasant.

We also got with the times, and made the entire site mobile-friendly for phone and tablet browsers. Go ahead and check us out on your feeble little screens… We dare ya.

The biggest change, and the one that I’m most excited about, is the new and improved Foodiggity Shop. It was finally time for our shop to stop living under its older sibling’s shadow, and strike out on its own.

The Foodiggity Shop now has its own new web address, FoodiggityShop.com, and a new shop platform. And, just like its blog brethren, the shop was made more mobile-friendly. So, the purchasing of novelty kitchen and home goods just got a little easier.

By all means, have a look around and let us know what you think… We’d love to hear from you. Enjoy our new blog and shop, and thanks for stopping by.

-Chris
