How To Make Bacon Jello
We’ve seen the almighty bacon in many forms. However, it’s never been quite as jiggly and disturbing as Bacon Jello. Brought to us by Instructables user Canida — the finished product slightly resembles bacon, and will also taste like it, since the recipe calls for the real thing.
So, is it dessert? Is it breakfast? No matter, it’s bacon. Use it as you would real bacon, and prepare for the disturbing texture of gelatinous pork fat.
We All Scream For Wine Ice Cream
Wine for dessert? What will they think of next? Actually, wine-flavored ice cream is nothing new. What is new is Mercer’s Wine Ice Cream which clocks in at 5%-ABV. For those scoring at home — that is just enough to actually get you a buzz.
Mercer’s Wine Ice Cream is available in Cherry Merlot, Chocolate Cabernet, Peach White Zinfandel, Port, Red Raspberry, Chardonnay, or Riesling. Please enjoy your dessert responsibly.

Gingerbread Lincoln Memorial
Abraham Lincoln — one the most beloved Presidents in U.S. history — just got even awesomer. Brought to us by Patti Paige of Baked Ideas, the Gingerbread Lincoln Memorial is 100% edible. At 3-ft tall, Gingerbread Lincoln also consists of rice krispie treats, chocolate, fondant, royal icing, cookies, and peppermint sticks. Now, that’s a memorial.
Currently on display at Le Parker Meridien in New York City, visitors can donate one dollar and vote for their favorite display, with proceeds going to City Harvest.
[Thanks, Patti]
