Severed Toe Cookies

August 31, 2012 by Chris Durso

With anatomical cookies all the rage, a series of severed and grotesque toe cookies seems appropriate. Created by Natasha of Nevie-Pie Cakes, Toe Nail Cookies depict some pretty gnarly digits — with toe-related ailments kindly included. After some laser treatment, they’re probably delicious.

These little piggies go to market at Eat Your Heart Out.

Breakfast Beds, Creative Ads For B&B Hotels

August 31, 2012 by Chris Durso

This series of print ads was created for German hotel chain, B&B Hotels, as a promotion for their recent bed and breakfast specials. Brilliantly combining the idea of bed and breakfast in one image — a hotel bed has never appeared so delicious.

Caffeinated Maple Syrup

August 31, 2012 by Chris Durso

Start the day off right by topping your pancakes or waffles with Caffeinated Maple Syrup. The all-natural supercharged syrup packs 84mg of caffeine per serving — more than some energy drinks. So, you can stop soaking your waffles in Red Bull now.

Or, you can turbocharge your morning coffee by using it instead of sugar. Disclaimer… Foodiggity cannot be held responsible for what happens if you do this.

And, if proper syrup distribution is a concern, consider a Pancake Plate, so you don’t miss a drop.

Nintendo Toaster

August 31, 2012 by Chris Durso

Old school gaming meets toasted bread, with the NES Toaster by MyBurningEyes. Unfortunately, this is merely a 3D rendering, designed to toy with our emotions. But speak up and demand your NES Toaster, internet people. Perhaps this concept can become a reality like a certain tea ball that’s available now.

Buddhas Carved Out of Cheetos

August 31, 2012 by Chris Durso

If you were thinking what we were thinking — then you’ll agree that there’s just not enough Cheetos-related art in the world. Japanese artist Koshi Kawachi looks to change all of that, with a series of 107 Buddhas carved from a Cheetos-like Japanese snack called umai-bou. Officially-titled Tasty Buddha, the puffy snack series was part of Umai-botoke: The Snack Age — an exhibit of these and other junk food art.

And, if you’re into food-related moments of zen, perhaps Buddha could hold your butter for you too.
