Please Don’t Pick The McDonald’s Ad

Artist Sean Click may have recently created the most coddled McDonald’s ad ever. The golden arches were created using the act of seed bombing and California Poppies — the state flower. The ad is therefore protected under California law, and is illegal to pick at, destroy, or dig up — making the ad seemingly eternal. No mention of how poppies hold up to smog and road pollution.

The Prison Cookbook

From The Big House To Your House is a new cookbook with about two hundred recipes for you and your family. Oh… did I say family? I meant fellow inmates.

The cookbook is brought to us by female prisoners at the Mountain View Unit of the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. Equipped with just a hot pot and limited food items from the commissary, the women recipe-tested items such as Frito pie, peach habanero salsa, and a faux baked potato made from re-hydrated potato chips.

Although some of the recipe’s actual edibility comes into question, they are certainly creative, and could come in handy if you find yourself in a bind — or if you’re going off to college.
