The United States of Food is simple enough — fifty states with one food that best represents each. From the obvious Idaho potato, to the Hawaiian pineapple.

But we take umbrage with the ‘Italian sub’ of New Jersey, as only those south of the Raritan Bridge refer to it as such.

Did they get this right fellow Americans?

  1. 99% of South Carolinians have never even heard of a Benne Wafer. Those are a Charleston treat. Fried Shrimp is the hands-down winner!
