Although Star Trek has already ventured into the booze business with Vulcan Ale, they’ve recently classed it up a bit with a line of wines. Produced by Vinasa Winery in Sonoma — trekkies and other random geeks can enjoy a Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Sangiovese.
The retro labels were created by artist Juan Ortiz and based on three original episodes: “The City on the Edge of Forever,” “Mirror, Mirror,” and “The Trouble With Tribbles.”

Now that one person, J.J. Abrams, is responsible for the creative direction of both Star Wars and Star Trek, geeks worldwide are having an even harder time choosing sides. These cookies won’t help.
Brought to us by Sarah Trefney, Star Wars/Star Trek Cookies combines a few notable characters from the two franchises — such as Spock as Obi-Wan, Chekov as Luke, and Darth as a Klingon.
Hopefully the cookies taste as good as Episode VII sounds. Because batches I, II, and III tasted like crap.
