Campbell’s Soup Can Converse

Two works of classic American art — Andy Warhol’s iconic Campbell’s soup cans and Converse canvas footwear — recently joined forces to create Converse Campbell’s Sneakers.

Teaming up with the Andy Warhol Foundation, Converse is offering the soup shoes in Tomato, Black Bean, and Vegetable — as well as a collage of soup cans and other works from Warhol.

So, if you’re a fan of Warhol, soup, vintage kicks, or all of the above… the Converse Campbell’s Sneakers go on sale February 7. A portion of the sales will go to the Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts. Check them out here.

Adidas recently launched its mi zx flux line, encouraging camera-phone owners that need new kicks, to design their own sneakers.

It’s simple… download the app, snap a photo, and manipulate it into an awesome pair of Adidas, that you can then purchase. Of course, with anything that involves taking pictures, you’re going to get some hungry people and their food porn involved.

So, without further ado, here are a few of the best food-related Adidas mi zx fluxs created by fans.

Burger Sneakers, For The Casual Carnivore

Burger sneakers are nothing new. Nonetheless, End Clothing recently teamed up with Saucony to bring us the Saucony Shadow 5000 Burger.

Taking a bit more subtle approach than the previous burger kicks, the nubuck and suede uppers merely borrow from a hamburger’s color palette — reinforcing the theme with just a little stitched burger on the tongue. Mmmm… Burger on the tongue.

Oh, where was I? Oh right, the sneakers… They’ll be available to purchase in a few days here, so you can make all of your other meat-eating friends swoon.

Another Cheeseburger Sneaker

Brought to us by Vansagain — is a Cheeseburger Sneaker. Only this time, the sneaker makers teamed up with French ‘arbiters of cool,’ Colette, and American photographer Mark Hunter, aka The Cobrasnake. The result — fancy cheeseburger-inspired footwear created to coincide with NYC Fashion Week. And there’s laces this time.

The Cheeseburger Sneakers will go on sale March 1 at Colette during Paris Fashion Week.
