KFC Bucket of Chicken and Sides Recreated With Candy

candy-kfc

A KFC meal that isn’t as it seems… Jill of Kitchen Fun with My Three Sons created a bucket of chicken and sides entirely out of candy. Complete with fried chicken that’s actually Rice Krispie treats coated with Raisin Bran, corn on the cob created from a Twinkie covered in yellow jelly beans, and frighteningly-realistic baked beans made from pudding and Sugar Babies. Recipe and technique here.

Burger King Bird Feeder

Created by Copenhagen-based artist Brian Wolter, and officially titled Fly Thou, the Burger King bird feeder offers quick flame-broiled goodies for the bird on-the-go. Just don’t forget their fries, or they’ll take it out on your windshield.

And, for the bird with late night munchies, the feeder is equipped with solar panels to help light it up at night.

Get Your Pallet of 7,000 White Castle Sliders

When one, or a sack, of White Castle sliders just aren’t enough, the fast food chain is now offering an entire shipping pallet full of the ‘burgers.’ Interested? Well, the Crave Pallet of nearly 7,000 sliders will run you $25,000.

But, before you balk at the asking price, the burgers come in choice of Original, Cheese, and Jalapeno — with all net proceeds being donated to autism research. As a bonus, you will also receive 216 White Castle-scented candles. Just in case the smell of 7000 sliders wasn’t enough.

Cupcake McNuggets

For cupcake enthusiasts that enjoy their food in nugget form, there’s Cupcake Nuggets. Brought to us by Cupcake Project, the nuggets are cut from actual cupcakes, breaded with cupcake crumbs, and then deep fried. To complete the effect, Cupcake Project offers suggestions for making faux savory dipping sauces — such as raspberry jam to look like barbecue sauce.

The recipe and technique can be found here. And, at least you’ll know where your nuggets come from.
