“You are the salt of the Earth… You are the light of the world. Let your light shine before men, that they may see your good works.” ~JC, Matthew 5:13-16
“Let’s drink to the hardworking people, Let’s drink to the Salt of the Earth.” ~Mick and Keith
Foodiggity would like to present a recurring article that is dedicated to hardworking people within the food industry. ‘Salt of the Earth’ will focus on those who are making a difference. Whether they are a farmer supporting the sustainable food movement, the superstar cook or culinary student destined to be a stud in the industry, or perhaps a tireless food activist.
We would like to call attention to those individuals who may be taken for granted, but play an essential role… Not unlike the mineral itself.
We encourage you—reader of foodiggity—to get involved. We would like to hear from you regarding someone who you feel is doing good work in the food community and deserves a spot here on Salt of the Earth.
Contact us at salt@foodiggity.com and check out our first Salt of the Earth entry.
Thank you for reading… foodiggity likes you too.
