Cereal Monsters Get Real In This Creepy Art Series

cereal-monsters

Cereal Monsters can be adorable, and all they want to do is endorse their delicious breakfast cereals. However, at the end of the day, Count Chocula, Frankenberry and Boo Berry are still monsters.

Artist Mike Burns got serious with these cereal peddlers, depicting them as actual creepy monsters. Prints of Count Chocula, Frankenberry, and Boo Berry can be found here. Sadly, we don’t get to see Fruit Brute howling at the moon. Now, we wait.

lays-flavors

Lay’s recently announced four finalists of their “Do Us A Flavor” contest. After thousands and thousands of submissions for out of the ordinary and U.S. regional-specific flavors — it’s been narrowed down to Southern Biscuits & Gravy, New York Reuben, Wavy West Coast Truffle Fries and Kettle Cooked Greektown Gyro.

Now, it’s up to the people to decide which chip reigns supreme, and they can vote here starting July 27th. Then we just need to know how they made a potato chip taste like a gyro. I assume sorcery.

Breakfast Mugshots, Dad Turns His Kids Into Superheroes With Well-Placed Coffee Mugs

breakfast-mugshots

Kids hate mornings… probably because they can’t drink coffee. Lance Curran, Comic Book Czar of Threadless, has found a creative way to give his kids a much-needed boost, while dad teases them with caffeine.

Breakfast Mugshots sees Curran turning his kids into morning superheroes, by holding a well-placed coffee mug over their faces.

The project is a win-win… Dad gets his coffee, and the kids are granted enough superpowers to help brush their teeth and get dressed. Check out more below and over at Curran’s Instagram.

The Cereal Dress Is The Most Important Couture of The Day

cereal_dress

To help promote her new variety of Special K cereal, British TV personality Tess Daly and Kellogg’s created a dress made entirely of the cereal’s ingredients.

The Cereal Dress was created using 4,000 stalks of wheat, 500 whole almonds, 800 cut almonds, 50 vanilla pods, 50 vanilla flowers, 450 whole apples, and 100 curled apple peels, preserved peels, and apple slices.

Pass the milk, and let’s enjoy this breakfast couture.
