Severed Toe Cookies

With anatomical cookies all the rage, a series of severed and grotesque toe cookies seems appropriate. Created by Natasha of Nevie-Pie Cakes, Toe Nail Cookies depict some pretty gnarly digits — with toe-related ailments kindly included. After some laser treatment, they’re probably delicious.

These little piggies go to market at Eat Your Heart Out.

Caffeinated Maple Syrup

Start the day off right by topping your pancakes or waffles with Caffeinated Maple Syrup. The all-natural supercharged syrup packs 84mg of caffeine per serving — more than some energy drinks. So, you can stop soaking your waffles in Red Bull now.

Or, you can turbocharge your morning coffee by using it instead of sugar. Disclaimer… Foodiggity cannot be held responsible for what happens if you do this.

And, if proper syrup distribution is a concern, consider a Pancake Plate, so you don’t miss a drop.

Buddhas Carved Out of Cheetos

If you were thinking what we were thinking — then you’ll agree that there’s just not enough Cheetos-related art in the world. Japanese artist Koshi Kawachi looks to change all of that, with a series of 107 Buddhas carved from a Cheetos-like Japanese snack called umai-bou. Officially-titled Tasty Buddha, the puffy snack series was part of Umai-botoke: The Snack Age — an exhibit of these and other junk food art.

And, if you’re into food-related moments of zen, perhaps Buddha could hold your butter for you too.
