The Bacon Milkshake Exists

Stop using your own bacon and ice cream, and get yourself to Jack In The Box, pronto. Part of a new campaign, “If you like bacon so much, why don’t you marry it?”, the Bacon Shake is for a limited time. Try not to be too discouraged that they’re actually using some kind of bacon-flavored syrup [argh!] and not actual pork. Perhaps you should keep your blender handy after all.

Twinkie Ingredient Opera

It’s no secret that Twinkies have more than a few ingredients. What should be a bit more of a surprise, is that Wendy Williams still has a show, and recently featured a Twinkie Ingredient Opera. Mezzo-soprano Hai-Ting Chinn sings the seemingly endless list of ingredients contained in the indestructible snack food.

I lasted about two minutes. Let me know how it ends.

Beethoven’s Moonlight Sonata In Milk

Seen as ripples in milk, Beethoven’s Moonlight Sonata was created by Brooklyn photographer Sara Naim. By placing milk on top of a subwoofer, Naim captures the most powerful parts of the music in dairy form.

Flipping through the slideshow, those familiar with the sonata can probably pinpoint all of the good parts. Not me though — it’s all about show tunes here.
